We specialize in everything staffing-related, from headcount evaluation, retention analysis, EEOC reviews and efficiency improvement plans to traditional temporary and contract staffing, recruiting and permanent placement, outsourcing, and diversity and inclusion consulting.

What does Nelson Staffing Group charge for staffing and recruiting services?

Rates are determined by each client’s unique staffing requirements, expectations and a variety of other factors specific to each client’s needs. Our Business Development Consultants are experts in determining your needs and business objectives, which will assist you in defining the right investment for your staffing needs.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR FINDING EMPLOYEES THROUGH Nelson STAFFING Group?

Once we have determined the scope and general parameters for the staffing need, our search and recruitment efforts begin immediately. By clearly understanding your needs and the requirements of the position, we can select the best candidates and provide those to you in an efficient manner.

What kind of Background checks do you conduct?

Every applicant is reference checked based on the work history provided by the applicant. All employees must also successfully pass a drug screen prior to placement. Some clients request additional screening based on job and/or company requirements, such as a driving record verification or criminal background check. Nelson Staffing Group can provide these services as well as meet any other needs you might have for background or security clearance checks. (Additional fees may apply – speak to your Account Manager for more information.)

How long will it take for you to find a candidate?

The time frame for successfully finding an employee varies due to a variety of factors such as the specific job market, the client’s specific needs and our current employee base. We make every effort to fill positions expeditiously, while remaining committed to matching the most qualified candidates with each client.

What types of positions does Nelson Staffing Group Specialize in?

Our company is comprised of four specialized divisions: Office, EEOC , Information Technology, and Diversity Inclusion. We specialize in staffing for temporary, contract, contract-to-hire and direct hire positions across numerous areas of specialization. These include: Administrative and Office Support, Customer Service and Call Center, Human Resources and Talent Acquisition, Paralegal and Legal Support, Finance, Contracts and Acquisitions, Information Technology, and Writing and Content.

 

Will the temporary staffing agency take a cut of my pay check?

This is probably the most commonly asked question about staffing firms. The temporary staffing agency you work with will absolutely not take a dime from your pay check or ask for money up-front for its help and guidance on your job search. Staffing agencies get paid by the client companies that engage their services, not their workers.

 

How long do assignments last?

The length of temp assignments is completely dependent on the client’s needs. You could work part-time for a few days. You could work full-time for several months. Or anything in between. It really depends on the work that needs to be done. But generally, temp positions last one to three months.

Who is my employer?

Even though you’ll be outsourced to client companies, your employer will be the temporary staffing agency you work with. Your pay check and benefits will be provided by the agency if you are on a temporary assignment. Direct Hires will be placed directedly with the client.
